About the 40 Year Hustle:

Hi and welcome to my blog which could have easily been called 'families start at 42' as that is how my story as a mum happened. This blog is dedicated to women who are currently going through the hardest slog of their lives, trying to fall pregnant in their late 30’s and 40’s to have a child and start a family.

Just recently I went through this very journey and I came to realise that trying to have a baby in my 40’s was the single most isolating, difficult and lonely experience of my life. This blog has been a dream of mine to create and share with you. I want this site to become a place for people to use for their own journey and to share their own success stories.

The 40 Year Hustle aims to give you resources, ideas, alternative options, news and a home for you to join- in during your own path to pregnancy and beyond. A place where you are part of something, with a growing number of women who are going through the same emotional roller coaster as you. I would love for this blog to become your sanctuary, in what can sometimes be a harsh world, where the media and society like to point fingers to your age or create panic and anxiety around your dreams and feed you scary facts that may not always be true for you.

The ‘hustle’ to fall pregnant is real but with the sharing of my story, my journey, my tips and also learning from my mistakes, you may just get the inspiration you need to be able to move forward with both a positive and calm approach and hopefully one day in the not too distant future, share your own success story here.
